Shift: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM

Position Overview

Grays Harbor Community Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, hands-on care and support to patients. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Nursing Assistant will assist with personal care needs while promoting the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily activities.
• Support patient comfort, safety, and personal needs.
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and the healthcare team.
• Follow established care standards, policies, and procedures.
• Contribute to a supportive and team-oriented patient care environment.

Requirements

• Current Washington State NA-C certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of acute care or long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, transfer, pull, and push patients and equipment.
• Ability to perform physical activities including kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, squatting, and climbing onto stretchers or beds.
• Adequate hearing to perform procedures and obtain accurate blood pressure readings.
• Sufficient vision for patient observation and basic charting.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
