About the Role
Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital is looking for a Clinical Educator to train, mentor, and support hospital staff in delivering high-quality acute care. You’ll play a key role in staff development, competency assessments, and ensuring clinical excellence across units.
What You’ll Do
Lead and coordinate educational programs for hospital staff
Facilitate hands-on training and workshops
Evaluate staff competencies and provide actionable feedback
Maintain and update training materials
Collaborate with department heads to identify learning needs
What We’re Looking For
Education: BSN required, MSN preferred
Experience: 5+ years as a hospital educator in acute care
Licenses/Certs:
Healthcare Instructor Certification
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (must be current within 6 months of hire)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)
