Position: Travel COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)

Location: Reno, Nevada
Facility: Life Care Center of Reno
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8-Hour Day Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week (minimum 30 hours/week per LCCA policy*)

Job Overview:

Life Care Center of Reno is seeking a Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time contract position. This role offers a weekday schedule with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care. Candidates should be team-oriented and able to maintain productivity standards in a skilled nursing setting.

Key Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts

• Minimum guarantee: 30 hours/week (some facilities may vary)

• BLS certification required

• 1 year of experience preferred

• 10% bill rate reduction applies for candidates with less than 1 year of experience

Productivity Expectation:

• Therapists must maintain 90% productivity (measured by billable treatment hours)

• If productivity falls below 90%, a 10% hourly rate reduction will apply

Requirements:

• Active COTA license in Nevada (or eligibility)

• Current BLS certification

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred

• Strong documentation and communication skills
