Dermatology – Mohs Surgeon

Compensation: Up to $550,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Mohs Surgeon to join a well-established dermatology practice in Avon, CT. This full-time opportunity offers the ability to work in a collaborative, high-demand practice with a strong referral network and modern clinical facilities.

The ideal candidate will specialize in Mohs micrographic surgery while also providing comprehensive dermatologic care as needed. This position is ideal for a physician committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes with a focus on skin cancer treatment and reconstruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Mohs micrographic surgery for the treatment of skin cancers
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage dermatologic conditions related to skin cancer
• Conduct patient consultations, biopsies, excisions, and reconstructive procedures
• Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on skin health and preventive care
• Collaborate with dermatologists, primary care physicians, and referring providers
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within EMR systems
• Ensure high standards of patient safety, quality care, and patient satisfaction
• Participate in practice growth initiatives and maintain strong referral relationships

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Fellowship-trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery preferred
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
• Active or eligible Connecticut medical license
• Strong surgical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered dermatologic care
