Emergency Room RN | Night Shift

Facility: Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center - Janesville
Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Schedule: Night Shift
Additional Flexibility: Travelers may be required to work at other Emergency Department locations in Janesville and Beloit.

Mercyhealth is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical judgment, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to respond effectively to changing patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Provide emergency nursing care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
• Develop individualized care plans and educate patients and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Apply critical thinking to promote patient safety and positive patient experiences
• Support other units and departments through clinical expertise
• Participate in quality improvement, shared governance, unit practice activities, and peer review

Required Qualifications & Certifications:

• Active Wisconsin RN License
• Education verification
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• TNCC or TNS
