Ivinson Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care across all aspects of the emergency department. The RN will assess patient needs, coordinate care, implement treatment plans, and work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare team members.

Core Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the scope of practice.
• Provide patient education based on individual needs.
• Transcribe, utilize, and implement physician orders and approved protocols.
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Protect confidential patient information and follow ethical and legal standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, valid Wyoming RN license in good standing.
• Previous clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Required Certifications

The RN must maintain or obtain the following certifications according to hospital requirements:

• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• NRP
• Approved de-escalation certification
• Procedural sedation training
• QPR training

ENPC or ATCN certification is highly recommended.
