We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate Hematologist/Oncologists to join a growing multidisciplinary healthcare team in Wethersfield, CT. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality cancer and hematologic care to a diverse patient population.
The ideal candidates will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of patients with hematologic disorders and cancer while contributing to a patient-centered and team-oriented practice.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Interpret laboratory results, pathology reports, and diagnostic imaging
Coordinate care with surgeons, radiation oncologists, primary care providers, and other specialists
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR systems
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Oncology
Active or eligible Connecticut medical license
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and patient care abilities
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered oncology care
Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology required
