Compensation: $340,000 – $400,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate Hematologist/Oncologists to join a growing multidisciplinary healthcare team in Wethersfield, CT. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality cancer and hematologic care to a diverse patient population.

The ideal candidates will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of patients with hematologic disorders and cancer while contributing to a patient-centered and team-oriented practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Interpret laboratory results, pathology reports, and diagnostic imaging
  • Coordinate care with surgeons, radiation oncologists, primary care providers, and other specialists
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR systems
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Oncology
  • Active or eligible Connecticut medical license
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and patient care abilities
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered oncology care
  • Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology required
