Hours: 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Rotation: As needed

Role Overview

Mile Bluff Medical Center is seeking an experienced House Supervisor to provide leadership, clinical support, and coordination across hospital departments during assigned shifts. This role serves as a key nursing resource and helps ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care throughout the facility.

Core Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and communication across Acute Care, Birthing Center, Emergency Department, and Surgery.
• Monitor patient flow and assist with appropriate placement and movement throughout the hospital.
• Provide clinical support, guidance, and mentorship to staff.
• Assist with direct patient care and address staffing needs when necessary.
• Support departments with after-hours resources, including pharmacy needs.
• Assist with incident command activation and management during mass casualty events.
• Help coordinate staffing between departments.
• Communicate concerns and follow-up needs to department leadership.
• Maintain a professional environment focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification required or obtainable within one month of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP required or obtainable within 12 months of hire.
• TNCC certification encouraged.
• Minimum of 3 years of related professional experience.
