ICU - INTENSIVE CARE

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13 Weeks | ASAP Start

Position Overview

Join a small, well-supported ICU where you’ll manage a low census while delivering high-quality critical care. This role also offers the opportunity to float to the ER when needed.

Unit Details

• 5-bed ICU
• Typical census: 4 or less
• Staffing: 2 RNs + 1 aide

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide ICU-level patient care and monitoring
• Manage critical patients and respond to emergencies
• Float to ER as needed (preferred skill)
• Collaborate with a close-knit care team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Schedule & Structure

• 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a)
• Every other weekend
• 13-week assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Guaranteed hours

Requirements

• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Meditech experience preferred
• ICU experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination or signed declination required

Additional Info

• Solid scrub color required
• Supportive small-hospital environment with manageable patient ratios

Ideal Candidate

An ICU RN who is comfortable in a smaller unit, adaptable to occasional ER float, and looking for a stable night shift assignment with guaranteed hours.
