LTAC Nurse – 12-Hour Day Shift

Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Schedule: Day shifts
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Role Overview
Hospital for Special Care is seeking an experienced LTAC/LTC RN for day shifts. This role focuses on providing care for long-term acute care patients, including those with ventilator needs and cardiac histories.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an LTAC setting

• Monitor and respond to ventilator and cardiac alarms, working closely with RRTs

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Accurately document patient care and observations

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for coordinated care

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certification required

• Prior ventilator experience preferred

• Ability to identify alerts and alarms for cardiac patients

• Comfortable working in a high-acuity LTAC setting
