Med-Surg Adult RN | Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center

Shift: Days | 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Rotation: Every other weekend and holidays
Additional Requirement: Travel RNs may float to other units

Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center is seeking experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, patient-centered care, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes
• Provide education and support to patients and families
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care
• Participate in performance improvement and shared governance activities
• Promote patient safety and escalate concerns through the appropriate chain of command

Required Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin RN License
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Education verification
• Full COVID-19 and influenza vaccination required
• Previous Med-Surg nursing experience

This assignment requires holiday coverage, every other weekend, and flexibility to float to other units as needed.
