Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Position Overview

The MRI Technologist performs routine MRI procedures and assists with complex imaging examinations while ensuring accurate results, patient safety, and high-quality care. The role also includes related duties within the diagnostic imaging department and office areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI procedures and assist with difficult or complex examinations.
• Provide safe, compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.
• Follow established radiology policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Apply sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Maintain quality customer service and professional communication.
• Complete related departmental and office duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification, or registry-eligible graduate.
• ARRT (MR) certification or eligibility to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
• Current Washington State RT license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Completed coursework in cross-sectional anatomy.
• Ability to safely lift, transfer, push, and position patients and equipment.
• Strong stamina, flexibility, manual dexterity, and decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds, reach overhead while holding up to 25 pounds, transfer patients safely, and push a loaded stretcher weighing up to 200 pounds for approximately 300 feet.
