Role Overview
Hospital for Special Care is seeking a Medical-Surgical RN with vent experience to join their cardiac care unit. This position is ideal for a nurse comfortable managing cardiac patients, recognizing alerts and alarms, and collaborating with RRTs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and cardiac patients
Monitor cardiac patients, identify alerts, and respond appropriately
Assist with ventilated patients as needed
Document patient care accurately and follow facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Requirements
Active RN license
Ventilator experience required
ACLS and BLS certification
Experience with cardiac patient care preferred
