Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity

Role Snapshot

This is an independent Nuclear Medicine role where you’ll be the primary tech in the department, managing day-to-day imaging operations with minimal supervision in a low-volume hospital setting.

Schedule & Assignment

• 4×9 hour shifts (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Monday to Thursday
• Fridays off
• No call requirements
• Initial 13-week contract (likely extension up to ~6 months)

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Performing Nuclear Medicine scans independently
• Running QC checks and monthly leak tests
• Supporting quarterly RSO compliance meetings
• Handling stress tests and general NM procedures
• Maintaining imaging equipment and hot lab standards
• Ensuring radiation safety compliance at all times

• Solo department coverage with high autonomy
• Low patient volume (approx. 3–4 stress tests + 1–2 general studies weekly)
• Siemens E Gamma Camera system in place
• Stable weekday schedule with no weekend or call duties

What We’re Looking For

• Experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist comfortable working independently
• Strong understanding of QC, safety, and compliance processes
• CT experience preferred but not required
• Reliable and confident in managing a department alone
