Make a Meaningful Difference Through Occupational Therapy

Ferry County Health is looking for an Occupational Therapist to help patients build greater independence and reach their highest level of function. From rehabilitation and adaptive techniques to home assessments and community reintegration, this role offers the opportunity to support patients across a wide range of needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment programs
• Help patients improve strength, coordination, mobility, self-care, and daily living skills
• Recommend adaptive equipment, positioning techniques, splinting, and environmental modifications
• Provide therapy for orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, balance, developmental, and other conditions
• Train patients and families in home programs, safety, transfers, energy conservation, and joint protection
• Conduct home assessments and support patients returning to daily routines or work
• Provide cognitive, sensory-motor, visual-perceptual, and neurological rehabilitation
• Maintain accurate patient records, evaluations, and treatment documentation
• Consult with schools, nursing homes, hospitals, home health agencies, and other community partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Washington State OT License or license in process
• 1 year of experience preferred
