We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join a growing and well-established ophthalmology practice serving the New Britain and Wethersfield, CT markets. This full-time opportunity offers access to a strong patient base, advanced technology, and a collaborative clinical environment dedicated to delivering exceptional eye care.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive ophthalmologic services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of ocular conditions while maintaining a strong focus on patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnostic evaluations
Diagnose and manage a broad range of ophthalmologic conditions and diseases
Provide medical and surgical ophthalmology care as appropriate
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
Utilize advanced ophthalmic diagnostic and imaging technology
Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR systems
Collaborate with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
Active or eligible Connecticut medical license
Strong clinical and surgical ophthalmology skills preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Fellowship training is welcomed but not required
