Position Overview

Tuba City Regional is seeking an experienced Pediatric Acute RN to provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients and their families. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for performing a wide range of nursing procedures, assessing patient conditions, implementing individualized care plans, and working independently in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, hospital policies, and established procedures.

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation is a JCAHO-accredited healthcare facility serving a large rural area across the western Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The 73-bed hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including emergency care, surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, dental services, and other specialty care.

Located on the Colorado Plateau, Tuba City offers a culturally rich community surrounded by the unique landscapes of Northwestern Arizona. The region is home to a diverse population, including Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute communities.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current, full, and unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• P-CAR (Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation) required within 6 months of hire
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) required within 6 months of hire

• Arizona RN license is not required; an active RN license from any state is acceptable.
• Limited housing is available based on availability.
• Shared housing units are available at $600 per month.
• Housing does not accommodate families or pets.
