Physical Therapist | Inpatient & Outpatient Rehabilitation

Location: Tuba City, Arizona
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Tuba City Regional is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients ranging from newborns to geriatric populations. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient care while contributing to specialty rehabilitation programs and the continued development of the Physical Therapy department.

Position Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat inpatient and outpatient patients across the lifespan.
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide services focused on the treatment and prevention of physical disability and disease.
• Support specialty programs including wound care, prosthetic and orthotic clinics, geriatric care, spinal cord rehabilitation, high school clinics, functional clinics, and assistive technology.
• Evaluate and provide treatment involving adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment.
• Participate in quality improvement, risk management, and patient safety initiatives.
• Support the development and implementation of Physical Therapy policies and procedures.
• Participate in Joint Commission preparation, staff education, in-services, staff meetings, and reporting.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to promote positive patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in a U.S. state, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Must meet Medical Staff credentialing requirements.
• Fingerprinting must be completed and cleared before the start of the assignment.

Additional Information

The Physical Therapist will provide care to a predominantly Native American population in a comprehensive healthcare setting serving both inpatient and outpatient populations. Weekend rotation may be required based on department needs.
