Polysomnographer | Overnight Sleep Study Assignment

Facility: Genesis Healthcare System
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Rotation: Three 12-hour shifts, including rotating weekends

Genesis Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Polysomnographer to conduct and support diagnostic sleep studies in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate testing, patient safety, equipment performance, and high-quality data for physician interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and analyze diagnostic sleep studies, including PSG, MSLT, and CPAP studies
• Collect and score accurate sleep study data for physician review
• Monitor patients throughout testing and ensure their comfort and safety
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot sleep study equipment
• Identify and resolve technical issues during testing
• Maintain clear communication with care teams to support continuity of care
• Complete accurate documentation for patient care and billing purposes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assigned projects
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• RPSGT certification or RRT with A-Step modules
• Minimum 1 year of related experience
• Strong technical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Important Assignment Information: This position requires rotating night shifts, including weekends. Genesis Healthcare System may not be able to accommodate significant RTO requests during the contract.
