Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Assist in implementing care plans to improve mobility and function
  • Monitor patient progress and report updates
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with compliance standards

Qualifications

  • Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program
  • NPTE certification for PTA (FSBPT)
  • Active PTA license (Missouri or eligible)
  • BLS certification (AHA or ARC required)
  • Strong communication and patient care skills

  • Updated resume (last 7 years work history with full details)
  • 2 professional references (including 1 supervisor)
  • Skills checklist (within 1 year)
  • Active license verification (within 30 days)
  • Background checks (7-year, FACIS Level III, OIG, SAM)
  • Drug screen (9-panel)
  • Immunizations: TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Flu
  • Missouri-specific: FCSR registration, EDL check, State Highway Patrol BG check
