Compensation: $250,000 – $275,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rheumatologist to join a growing healthcare practice serving the Wethersfield, Connecticut market. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced physicians and new graduates looking to establish a rewarding career in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive rheumatologic care, diagnose and manage autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders
  • Conduct patient evaluations, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
  • Manage chronic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoporosis, gout, and related disorders
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Educate patients on disease management, medications, and preventive care strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic medical record systems
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
  • Active or eligible Connecticut medical license
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
