We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rheumatologist to join a growing healthcare practice serving the Wethersfield, Connecticut market. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive rheumatologic care, diagnose and manage autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a wide range of rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders
Conduct patient evaluations, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
Manage chronic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoporosis, gout, and related disorders
Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures
Educate patients on disease management, medications, and preventive care strategies
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic medical record systems
Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
Active or eligible Connecticut medical license
