Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM–4:00 PM

Position Highlights

Banner Surgery Center – Peoria is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN to support increased surgical volume during a temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled perioperative nurse who thrives in a collaborative, quality-focused surgical environment.

Candidates should have strong experience in:

• ENT procedures, including adult and pediatric cases
• Spine surgery
• Podiatry
• Orthopedic hand procedures

Experience with endoscopy and colorectal procedures is highly desirable. Scrubs will be provided.

Role Responsibilities

The OR Circulator RN will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care throughout the surgical experience. Responsibilities include coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team, monitoring patient needs, supporting surgical procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring adherence to professional standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.

The RN will also help promote patient safety, continuity of care, effective communication, and positive outcomes while providing support and direction to members of the surgical team.

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or higher
• Current RN license, temporary license, or compact RN license applicable to the state of practice
• BLS and ACLS required
• PALS required within 90 days of start date if assigned to pediatric ASC services
• At least 1 year of licensed RN experience in the OR preferred for core positions
• Strong perioperative or OR experience strongly preferred
