Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Skilled Nursing

Location: Alamosa, Colorado
Facility: San Luis Care Center
Schedule: 5 × 8-hour day shifts

Position Overview

San Luis Care Center is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services focused on improving communication, cognition, and swallowing functions for residents in a skilled nursing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create individualized speech therapy plans
• Treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

• Active Colorado SLP license or Compact License
• BLS certification required
• New graduates accepted (adjusted bill rate applies)
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills

Important Details

• Bill rate is negotiable based on experience
• 90% productivity expectation (rate adjustment if below threshold)
• Consistent weekday schedule in a supportive rehab environment
