The Opportunity
Mile Bluff Medical Center is seeking an Athletic Trainer to support athletes, active individuals, and patients across a variety of clinical and community settings. This role combines sports medicine, injury prevention, rehabilitation, concussion management, occupational health, and orthopedic support.
Your Role Will Include
- Cover athletic events and after-school activities
- Evaluate, treat, rehabilitate, and prevent athletic injuries
- Perform concussion assessments and manage return-to-play progression
- Communicate care plans with athletes, families, and coaches
- Document evaluations and treatments
- Provide occupational health services, including functional assessments and job-specific conditioning
- Support orthopedic clinic activities, including patient histories, surgery scheduling, and education
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology
- At least 1 year of related experience
- Current Wisconsin Athletic Trainer License
- BOC certification
- BLS certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong skills in musculoskeletal and concussion evaluations

Key Responsibilities
- Perform speech, language, and swallowing evaluations and treatments
- Develop individualized plans of care and monitor patient progress
- Complete evaluations, progress reports, discharge summaries, and other required documentation
- Educate nurses, physicians, dietitians, food service staff, patients, and families on evaluation findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient-centered treatment
